Any recommendations on the best place to have a PPI performed on a 1963 F-car? The car is located a little north of Chicago. Thanks.

Wayne, I would say Lee at Lake Forest Sportscars (847-295-6560) or Brian at Willow Automotive (847-785-8080). Both are located in the north shore suburbs.

    Definitely LFSC
Joe is the main mechanic for the older Ferraris. Very knowledgeable, very nice! And Lee (service manager) or Drexel (other service dude) are both wonderful to work with.

I was thinking LFSC but thought I should check with the locals first. Thanks!

Doh. Joe just had surgery on his shoulder and will be out for 6-8 weeks. They recommended I call Continental. I did. $650 (5 hrs) for the works.

Wayne, let us know if you need help with anything else here in balmy Chicago. When the weather starts to turn we get a little antsy for things to do!

I'd definitely second that. Happy to help if I can. Especially with an older car.
