A few weeks ago I read somewhere that Chicago would be getting its own pebble beach style concours. The problem is I can remember where I read this. Anyone read about it or knows more about it?

I thought there was a page on here somewhere, check the spotters thread? Also look up possible newspaper articles? And IIRC, it won't be til 2014, where the one in Barrington will still be this year.

You are probably referring to the Barrington Concours, which this year is still being held in Barrington but as of next year will move to Northerly Island and renamed "The Chicago Concours".

While the event Makray golf course is already spectacular, the new event next year will be absolutely one of the best and put Chicago on the map for Concours events.

With the help of Cooper Technica they're getting there.

Let me know if you plan on contributing a special car. I can get you in contact with the organizers.
