This is 17 minutes from me - so I feel obligated to go to this one!! Anyone else joining? I'll be in a green 97 D90.
They didn't allow any pics inside the garage but there were some cool cars way down the line. Blue EB110 and a wine colored XJ220 where in the back. I think they were at the Ronald McDonald house car show a year or two ago. Several other cool cars that are escaping me right now. I believe there was a blue Ferrari 330 GTC (I might be off a little in the name) that had an incredible looking interior. Another highlight for me was a green over tan 911S that was a beauty!! I am a huge fan of the old Z Coupes and kick myself for not getting one years ago. But it was nice to get out the Denfender and enjoy the sunlight for a bit! Sounds like some nice cars. Really to bad they did not allow pictures. I probably wont go to any of the Rise and Drive events because of that.
+1. The cars outside are cool but nothing amazing. What a pity. Rise and Drive was the best car event when it started in 2014.
Another event from Rise And Drive and Collector's Car Garage. I would go if I could take pictures indoors as well as outdoors. They have already shown a lot of the customer cars, so I don't see the problem. To enter the concours is $25.00. Photos from R&D facebook. Nice Lancia's!!! This month Road America has the SCCA June Sprints and Indy/Pirelli events. Enjoy the September 1955 Road America photos. Phil Hill won that race also with the white #3 car. Should be a lot of fun. Here is more info on the Milwaukee Concours dElegance on August 6th. Looks like they will have a good selection of vintage Indy winners. Waiting for the final list of cars to be made available. A good show and now it does not conflict with Geneva in late August . Image Unavailable, Please Login
