At first glance, I thought you were comparing red and blue Corvettes.

I'll be the one to say it. The F12 doesn't look as dramatic as other Ferraris. The styling is very muted and doesn't seem to stand out when parked among other cars.

    Can't wait for the C7 Z06.

+1... what the heck? GM needs to dig up some pride and stand on their own. Maybe the goal is to try pull folks away from the f-car market with price. This is getting close to the Chinese La Ferrari look-alike.

Unfortunately I think ALL design is getting homogenised these days - driven by focus groups and, worst of all, the dreaded marketing department who cannot imagine anything that is right in front of them and just want a copy of what 'sells' (which in reality is what sold several weeks/months/years ago depending on the product.

I'm an architect and years ago if the client thought something resembled an opposition's product at all, they would not accept it. These days, the question is always "Where's this been done before?" Few want to truly innovate. Plus manufacturing is all typical these days for cars - Ferrari panels are pressed on basically the same machine that presses Ford panels, so the Ford can easily follow Ferrari's styling cues. The point of difference that hand-tailoring could add is long lost.

I don't care what other cars it looks like, Chevy knocked it out of the park with the C7.
