My daughter will be 3 1/2 in the spring and I wanted to get a seat for the 360- are there any recommendations on a particular seat/brand? I did a search & this topic hasn't been discussed recently as far as I can tell...

In New Jersey you can have a non-rear facing child seat in the passenger seat of a 2-passenger air bag equipped car, with the seat pused all the way back.

Thanks for any info- I'd love to be able to do weekend errands with her when the salt is off the road and the spring comes back!

In most states not legal due to the airbag???? I think on utube there are a couple of videos with children in the front seat after a airbag deployed. In 2008 it was made law in all new cars to have the front seat that weighs you and if you were under approx 100 pounds the airbag switches off.

In NJ it is legal per the DMV website. I'm not sure with the seat back if it would come into contact. Seems to be mixed studies since otherwise NJ wouldn't allow it... I am also looking into one of the aftermarket airbag defeat switches...

I just used whatever one my wife has had in her SUV forever. Nothing Special. They all seem to work well.

I have power seats, so slide it all the back and all the way up(so she could see out!) and then put a towel down over the seat(lots of crumbs in these kid seats!) and she was the only princess to be taken to pre-school in a red Ferrari....

I have the Ferrari booster seat as I take mi co-pilot(son) with me to events. As I understand, if there is not enough weight on the seat then the airbag remains off.

That looks cool....my guess is the "official Ferrari Licensing" consists of Ferrari letting them put the horsey on there and has nothing to do with actual specific testing that that seat will do any better than another in a ferrari, but for $200 it's not marked up on a % basis as badly as some other "ferrari licensed" stuff like hats, shirts, etc... ;) I'll show the wife the seat and see what she thinks ;)

Unfortunately I beleive that may be a newer "generation" of air-bag, which a 2000 360 probably doesn't have....
