Child seat in 458

still searching for a baby smart seat ve called every where no luck i would think the sensor in the seat should tell the car the weight is under the limit and turn off.anyone that knows where to get a baby smart seat please let me know for a 488 gtb thanks

I ordered one of these. It fits well. Though I'm waiting for my daughter to gain a few more pounds before letting her ride in it. Even then, it'll be mostly short trips around the neighborhood.

 

Has anyone used a car seat in an F8 with racing seats?

 

Does it disable the airbag?

 

No, but I do have the sensors that disable the airbag as well. Got them on eBay.de

 

Recaro Vivo booster seat works great with the racing seats.

My 4 yo is dying to ride the 458... Really wish I could get ahold of one of these sensors/seats He can ride in the back of my Shelby GT350 but I know he really loves the Ferrari. He is telling us to just buy a GTC4 Lusso LOL

 

I too have recently purchased one of these for use in the 458 for my nearly 5yo. It doesn’t have the baby smart airbag disabling technology that I’m aware of. Its easy to carry and set up. I added extra foam to the seat and head rest sides by pulling aside the cover and squeezing in the foam pads. Otherwise your child is left sitting on polystyrene. So far with limited use I’m happy with this as a spare car seat/booster. It very convenient.
