I've done the M3 convertible, but I now want to try something different and the logical step up is to a Porsche. I still want to get another convertible. The problem I have is that I need room in the rear for a infant car seat. Will a infant car seat fit in the rear or not?

I don't have an answer to your specific question, but I am willing to bet that the 911 has an airbag cut off switch allowing you to use the front seat instead.

Yes, some will. I researched and found that Britax makes a narrow seat that fits in the back of a 911. My wife and I are expecting in October and we went through all of this. We decided that we neeed to go with a sporty 4 door instead of a 911 as my DD until the kiddo gets old enough to sit forward in the back seat. Safety over sport.

    Good luck...

And Porsche saves the day again.
Do you plan on getting a Panamera or Cayenne? Or do you already own something other than the 911?

Thought about the Cayenne for all of 30 seconds.. We already have an LR3 so we don't need another SUV. I gave my LR3 to my wife since she had to return her lease and she liked the safe feeling of it. I picked up a MB E500.

I have had my boys in the back of my 997 cab since they were 3. There are no latch points in the back of cabs so infant seat will not work, unless you have the latch points installed in the car.
