If the GP was canceled, would this make Hamilton champion?

I remember when qualifying of the Japanese GP of 2005 was hit by a tyfoon. Didn´t they postpone the session to sunday morning then?

Back in 1991, the Australian GP was cut short to 14 laps. Boy, was I bummed out.

Was that 2005? Time just slips by... I was there! We didn't even make it to the track on Saturday. We were on our way and had just gotten off the bullet train from Kyoto in Nagoya to make the connection and we found out through another traveler that practice and qualifying was cancelled. So we turned around to get back on the next bullet train back (a mere 30 min journey) only to find all the high speed trains were shut down due to high winds. So we had to "slow" train it back. That took some 3 or 4 hours.

Fun race and great track. Too bad it isn't on the calendar anymore. :(

I have a question. If Massa tries a risky move on Hamilton and takes him/both out and Kimi wins the race, they penalize Massa. Let's say. Do you think they would find a way to hold it against Kimi some how?

I'm always somewhat surprised these things don't happen more often. But the problem is, that the FIA would come down hard on the aggressor, in this case Massa and possibly give him a race ban going into 2008. Nobody wants to risk that.

would surely depend on what is determined to be the reason behind it - fighting for place, team orders or misplaced loyalty.

My whole idea is if it happens to be rain again, looks like it, and there is situation like with Kubica. What are the chances that LH and McCheaters would try to blame it on the whole team and say it was intentional to help Kimi. Also if it happens this way what do you think FIA would do?

That's a nasty looking storm, category 4. Looks like Taiwan is really going to catch it. Yikes.

Just so you know: a storm like this kills thousands of people. How it affects the race doesn't really matter.

It's all Hamilton's fault. Bernie and the FIA are using their secret weather machine to get the race cancelled so Lewis wins the title. It's fixed I tell you! It's fixed!!!!
