Where are all of the people who criticized Ferrari and the tire choices in Japan?

And the ones that said Ferrari were done and had no real chance at the Championship?

Nearly everyone posts along with the stats and claim to be "knowing" when all they know is that they stand a better chance of going with the flow if they bet on the safe standard choice.

I go a little on facial and body expressions and as we all know the deals are happening right now behind the scenes. I think that Ferrari should keep the lineup they have right now for next year but I have a funny feeling that Massa is now out and will be heading elsewhere. That makes it even more unlikely that Alonshole will come to Ferrari. I never liked Kimi because he didnt put out 100% and likes to drink on race weekends. But he got on the wagon and has stayed on it and as long as he is on the wagon he will stay at Ferrari. I like the way he has driven the last couple of races. I think Ferrari is trying to get Lewis but more than likely will not happen but dont be surprised that Alonshole stays and Lewis leaves. If Ferrari does not pick up Lewis then they will be picking up Roseberg, Kubica or Vettel. All of these guys will make Ferrari a top contender next season as long as the reliability once again returns. As for the WDC this season....Its been said over and over that if a McCheater were to win then it would mean nothing and I know that most sensible F1 fans know this is true. The fact that the points are so close right now and that the McCheater team did gain an advantage with Ferrari info tells me that KIMI would have won the WDC if the info didnt make it to the McCheaters.....So when its all said and done Kimi is the actual WDC for 2007 in my mind and Im sure most F1 fans will see it the same way. Congratulations to Ferrari and KIMI for doing so well all things considered.

I really hope that lewis and alonso are battling themselves out of the track and get no points and Kimi wins the world drivers championship for the F1 2007.

Today in the first 6 places were 5 Ferrari Engines:
    Kimi: Ferrari
    Alonso: Spy Ferrari
    Massa: Ferrari
    4th ????
5th & 6st were Scuderia Toro Rosso (Ferrari Engines)

So thats it Ferrari is the Best !!!

Vettel was the drive of the day ... from zero to hero in a week and he's only 20 .... and wasn't it good to hear him admit to a mistake and accept the blame

How crazy was it when he had two laps to go and they told him he had a 20 second lead on the car behind him and to conserve fuel! Doh! I was hoping he did not stop short of the finish line.

What say you today? Soo many choices, who knew what the right choice was? People gambled and lost all day.

Oh sorry, I thought you were talking about the Japanese GP. I think it was very clear that they needed full wet tires and not the inters. Heck, it was so clear that an email was sent to all teams about it, and a safety car (which led the parade for 19 laps!) should have been a HUGE hint to the scuderia. I really suspect, they tried to pull a fast one and the gamble did not pay off. I just wont believe that they made a mistake, I would rather believe that a Machiavellian blood line took over the scuderia.

Look at all the trouble today. Teams have always gambled with wet tires. Today it was Hamilton who paid the hufge price, last week it was Massa.

The ones I was referring to weere the ones who thought a penalty was coming to Ferrari and that Ferrari had to finsh 1-2 for Japan, China and the final race to have a shot at the Drivers title.

Those kinds of people go into hiding when the light is focused in their direction.

Congrats Ferrari and Massa and Kimster.

Hamilton is not going anywhere, nor could he. There is something called the Contract Recognitions Board in F1. No one is going to buy out Hamilton from his McLaren contract and there is no way that Lewis is quitting that team.

Interesting change of heart. I have a distinct recollection of having to defend Kimi from the likes of you earlier in the season. Nice to see you finally recognizing what we knew all along...

-- the 15 they lost in Hungary wasn't part of Steppneygate, but DQ'd by the stewards after their story about Alonso's pit lane blocking kept changing. McLaren dropped the appeal on those 15 just before the hearing (and well after the Steppneygate decision).

There are alot of folks wanting LH to make a mistake ie "he was made in a lab, he's a robot type" well it's happened.

And now we have one of the best ends to a season in along time down to the wire.

Florian, I have to say to be as good as he is arrogance is expected.

The posts I have read this year range from sheer loathing of him and his dad to admiration and IMO you have got to be pretty thick to not realize, Lewis love him or hate him, he is an asset to F1.

i'll bet you that even the slowest driver on the grid is arrogant, these are Super Type A personalities you guys are talking about..........they all think they are the best.

many of you are trained by the media to think a certain way, and make judgements about driver X's character.........when in reality you have no clue what you're talking about, you have never met any of these guys, you don't know what they're thinking, you're not sitting in the team meetings.........all you know is what you read on the interweb and on this board.
yet you make your judgements with such certainty........... at least it's good for a laugh most of the time.

funny part is, most of you are older guys(30+), but it's hard to tell from some of your posts.......

Steve, it's difficult to root for someone who displays vanity openly. I understand nationalist support (hell, I'm a fan of JV and YES, IT HASN'T BEEN EASY !!!...) and the fact is, Lewis will always have a solid fanbase just due to his sheer talent. Personally, I easily see him as being a multiple WDC before he signs to drive the CancerCure sponsored Hendrick Kia in Nascar. Unlike others who post whose mentality is questionable, I'll never wish for drivers I don't like to have accidents ( lost friends that way ) but we all wish drivers would show dignity and humility, given their unbelievable skill/luck/money to drive an F1 car in the first place.

Of course I'm happy the WDC will be decided in Brazil, but I remain amazed that Mclaren and Hamilton could, at this level of racing, be such collective boneheads. Mclaren should have called him in, should have told him to quit ' ****ing going for it', but Lewis ultimately decided his own fate by remaining out there when he didn't have to. The HEIGHT I'm afraid.

Great race btw, and all (including LH) drivers showed why they are known as the best of the best .
