Not sure how the heck that happened. Looked like Albers was coming up the left side, and Michael turned into him. Now what Albers was thinking by passing Shumi, I have no freaking clue.

Ferrari mechanics hurrying to ready the backup car!

That wasn't just a little bump, it was a CRASH! On the pre-grid lap! With no reason to be warming up the tires! Just nuts!!

Yeah, Albers was FLYING down the back straight. MS looked to be minding his own business and CA just ran over him. I'm not too sure what to make of it.

Looked like MS just turned in front of CA. Maybe MS should have been minding the traffic.

He may have been on the radio or something - but Albers was way quicker - coulda been accelerating trying to build heat into the tires

Good morning Sam - just got up and turned on tv and computer - we spent all day at the Texas Concorso at MSR - had the mondial t and slk350 on the track - loads of fun - saw that stewards are investigating incident - if it was Albers to blame, he has nothing to loose - this may give JPM the advantage for the couple points he's behind MS - what's going on???

WOW I just saw the clip on SpeedTV; huge difference in speed between CA and MS. I just cant understand though how CA was going so fast compared to MS, even if he was speeding up and slowing down to get some heat into the tires and brakes.

Perhaps it's something quirky with FChat this am!

MS not looking good - it will be interesting to see what stewards say - Albers has nothing to loose, he won't be back - wonder what the deal is?

That one race special engine Renault is running looks pretty good for them. Looks like Fisi needs to crank it up a bit with Kimi closing in.

Good evening guys, dont usually post during races, but I thought I'd join you all today.

Schumi has to be extremely heavy, perhaps a one stopper.

Fisi looks to be holding up the whole field intentionally, and unfortunately it looks to be working perfectly.

Fisi is doing a good Irvine impression (sorry about that low blow Andreas) ... keep everyone behind while Schumi leaps ahead

    Perfect defensive move!

MS and Sato should be interesting - he's 4.5 sec behind MS but MS is 13.7 back from Villeneuve - got to be something more than heavy with fuel! JPM and Button in - darn if Albers hadn't screwed up MS, MS would have been in 4th. Way to go JPM - McLaren's constructors hopes look to be going down the drain.

Loose drain cover is the culprit - wonder what Bernie will have to say about that!

Everyone stops but MS - maybe it's a no-stopper!! Wishful thinking.
