Does anyone have chocolate leather ? I would love to see how it looks - has anyone seen it ?
Not advertising for this dealer, but this is the first one I found that had good photos of Cioccolato interior. Each to his or her own; I'd probably prefer a Cuoio as an alternative to the traditional tan or black. 2013 Ferrari California for Sale - 1924678 - duPontREGISTRY.com
No photos but I ordered it on my FF. It is very dark. Black stitching and horse. I will comment that the FF is more formal, less sporty than the California. Chocolate may go better there but at the end of the day it is a personal choice.
My 2011 and current 2013 California have Cuoio with Cioccolato. Your welcome to see the interior if you wish to drive to Naples, FL. PM for info. I had it on my Cali that I just sold. Cioccolato leather and Alcantara mix. I will try to find some decent pictures to send.
I was thinking of a Nero Daytona Metalic with Cioccolato leather but am not sure if this is the way to go. Otherwise i would go with Nero Daytona/Nero interior with yellow stiching.
I love the two tone interior bytheway I was just thinking that the Cuoio with jeans and constant rubbing may show the wear very easily ?
see post #27 for a classy config with cioccolat: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/california/328590-california-rebooted-2.html#post140634197
that looks great. reminds me of the common color scheme for the Testarossa, which for some reason never caught on. I love it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
RG, are you saying that there were no stains on the cuio ? I had a maserati with drilled cuio and i sold it because i could not stand the stains in the leather.
NONE, that's why I did it all over again with the 2013 and there's over 5,500 miles on it. I did have several MB SLs that picked up color from clothes and belts, couldn't get it off. Not the case with the Ferraris, no color pick-up. The only change to the 2013 from the 2011 was the addition of an embroidered cavalino on the rear seatback. I missed that on 2011. The photos are of the 2011. I have been so pleased with the color combo that I'll use it again on my next Ferrari, F12 or California, whichever comes first. Note that this color combo works for me and yours, no matter what your selection, will work for you.
My 2012 Maserati GTS has Sabbia (even lighter than Cuoio) colored seats and using Zaino leather cleaner with a toothbrush fixes everything.
So Far, the colors i like best are similiar to your layout but with Nero Leather/ Cuio. 2 questions, 1. do you regret not having the cf steering wheel ? 2. can the stitching on the chocoliato or my black be done with deviated stitching i.e cuio stitching on black, with black stiching on cuio ? I am now certain on the diamon pattern :0
1. IMO the CF steering wheel makes the car look A LOT more luxurious and complete. I did regret non having the paddle shifters in CF. 2. The factory can do ANYTHING you want as long as you are prepared to pay The different stitching is not a problem at all for them.
Here is Bianco Avus with Cioccolato. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here is one at a Ferrari of Austin that we saw last weekend. It's very nice; my wife's favorite color... Image Unavailable, Please Login
