I have seen three or four of his episodes.

I am still trying to figure out how he keeps a woman suspended in mid air over a sidewalk in Vegas surounded by onlookers.

Another one in Vegas where he passes through a plate glass window covered with a medium sized sheet of paper with 7 witnesses standing by, 6 on one side and one on the other.

Him walking down the side of a Hotel.

Standing inside a tour bus and throwing a playing card at the inside of the windshield resulting in the card stuck to the outside instantaneously, all in front of witnesses.

Many of the other tricks that he does are a variation of tricks performed decades ago like being chained inside a barrel full of water suspended 70 feet off the ground, pure Houdini, which he admits on the show before doing the trick.

Another is where he lays on a bed of 10 penny spikes and has a Hummer drive up onto his chest.

Old hat with a new face.................................

i don't get it....he pratically flies.

 

i saw this thing on magicians secrets and they sayt he main secret is that the audience is always in on it. I beleive that to be true with that guy as well. onlookers or not it is on tv and it is a controlled environment. "oh, that guy didnt look suprised? okay take 2"

he is good and he is fast... but i think it is all a sham.

the flying thing is pretty sweet. there are dvds on the web that will reveal the secret and teach you how to master this illusion... but that is all it is.. an illusion. if i could do it... i would be doing that every chance i got. i would levitate around mcd's while i waited for my mcgriddle.

Saw him live in NYC a couple years back, before he really hit it big, it was an amazing show. It was all these very large scale illusions but in a very small space, maybe about 50 people. It was mesmerizing.

 

He's pretty good IMO. Some of the stunts sure appear to be on the edge. Hopefully he doesn't get it by accident like Houdini did.(it's been my understanding that Houdini got a punch to the stomach before he had a chance to tighten up etc. which killed him)

 

it is all an allusion. there are many explainations to everything he does. the one where he leans all the way back to a horizontal position and then lifts a leg up can be easily explained. he could have a chain (so to speak) of metal that when bent into a certain position lock up and create a ridged piece that can support the weight of a human. the floating stuff and the crowd reaction is edited. he tapes himself doing some type of card trick and tapes the reaction of the crowd mostly. then gets some woman, and gets wire and makes it look like she is floating. edit out the wires, edit in the crowd reaction, an amazing "magic trick is born". the same thing goes for him floating some odd feet into the air.

 

SHHHH! The Wonderbug thing has been hard enough to live down!
