Domestic violence is is one of the worst things we investigate. I can't remember the last time I had a Domestic Violence arrest go to trial. Most get dropped when the abused spouse will not cooperate. You would also be amazed at the number of abused men. It is definitely not just a male on female crime.

I've heard it's really crazy. A psychiatrist talked out my health class back in college and discussed this. She made it really clear to the women in the class that they can be just as bad if not moreso than men.

In her experience the female on male abuse was mostly mental, and that it was insane how much they disabled and tore down these strong alpha-males. At the time she was dealing with a cop whose wife had brainwashed him so much was also phycially abusing him besides the mental. She was having sex with other men in front of her husband and made it seem like that was okay and normal to him.

And while Brown needs to pay his dues, how do we know that Rhianna doesn't have some screws loose herself?

I'm in no way saying "But what did you do?" at all. I was just wondering what's going on in her head, like most abused women who end up back with the men that beat them. Is she simply scared for her life and that's why she's back with him or is there more to it?
