    Found one. He was really friendly even though he was busy getting ready for his next run. NHRA is the nuts. You have total access and Maple Grove is a hoot, Out in the middle of nowhere, driving through the country and then you hear the cars off in the distance. We had seats in the upper grandstand directly above the starting line. The noise and the shock waves - well you have to experience them for yourselves. Anyway, the Greek is one of the greats.

    I've never been to the Grove, but Englishtown and Seattle are pretty remotely located as well. The echoes off the evergreen trees in Seattle are remarkable!

    In the early 60's, I talked my dad into taking me to the Oswego dragway, the Greek was doing demo runs that Sunday the sound and smell made me a gear head for life.

    I grew up near Englishtown and have been to Maple Grove - awesome stuff !
