Fobs are back from Gobble - now for the key.

I also learned a valuable lesson at midnight - do not hold the fob button down as the alarm is piercing -

I consider it a little payback for their dogs which like having evening bark-a-thons.

Had to move cars around yesterday so I took the 355 out for a quick drive - oh that exhaust sound!!!!!

Anyone else go for a drive during this past warm spell?

    Cheers

Do you take the car off of storage insurance? I drop my cars insurance to say its stored. I says a lot of money. Not sure if I can enable for one day, and ut back in storage.

My state farm agent gives me a 'free' day on a seasonally stored car.......I don't abuse the offer......maybe once every 2-3 years.

No way! Far too much salt left on the streets. Washington County loves to spread a heavy coating everywhere! I wait till one or more heavy rains come through. Plus, a short ride does not get things warmed up enough to evaporate the condensation that forms in the crankcase and exhaust. My advise is to leave em stored till they can truly be used.

I hear that the 355 exhaust note is intoxicating though... :)

I have State Farm and I told them I was "moving it" so they gave me the day.

As for the salt - it is usually horrible but it rained pretty hard the day before I drove it so no residue.

It is sleeping once again - sigh. Test pipes are on the way!!!!!

I have State Farm on my 348. Coverage is year-round. It's less than $300 for $45K agreed value. There is of course an assumption that it doesn't go out in Winter but nothing is specified.
