I am going to refinish the chrome on my Dino and I would like some advise on removing the metal trim pieces around the front and rear windshields. Can anyone help? Omgjon - do you have any advise?

You have to take the windscreen out to remove and re-install the chrome finisher.

I agree with Racerboy. You can pry the chrome surround out of its groove in the seal, but you will ruin it in the process. Removing and reinserting the windscreen is easy, and easier yet if you resolve to throw away the old seal. If you are renewing the seal, you can cut the old seal with a razor blade and make removal much easier.
