My USA Dino has two reflectors on the rear with chromed plastic housings and the four side marker lights also have plastic chromed housings.

Several of these chromed plastic pieces are starting to show peeling and the parts are getting difficult or expensive to find. Does anyone know of an alternative? Perhaps recommend someone who can chrome plastic like these originally were?

I did mine a few years back and they came out great. You have to be aware of the thickness of the chrome and the side markers though. Too much chrome and the markers have to be sanded down to fit. Got company out of Hemmings where you should be able to find a few services.

That is not the correct part. I saw a bunch of new or NOS ones at T-Rutlands not long ago. They are also a Fiat 124 item you may be able to source.

Can someone recommend a place to have certain plastic items rechromed? I would be interested.

I've emailed several who advertize in Hemmings that can chrome plastic, but it is expensive ~$300-$400 for a set of 4-6 as a rough ballpark before they see the actual parts. At $40 each from re-originals or $49.95 from T Rutlands, it looks like remove/replace is a faster and cheaper option.

I used a place that advertised in Hemmings. They were located in Tallahassee, Florida. It took forever and I paid $90 for 3 vent knobs for my Dino Spyder. The plastic cracked due to the chroming process so be careful! The knobs were also too big to fit into the vent slots afterwards. The chroming was quite thick.

I just called Lee and got $49.99 each at T Rutlands - Although I usually try to recondition original pieces, the smart thing sure seems to remove/replace.

each of the four corners is actually a separate piece. I ordered one of each from Reoriginals about a month ago, at which time one of the pieces was backordered. They were going to ship the 3 they had if it was anticipated that it would be over a month before they got the missing one in, but I haven't heard anything.

Lee at T Rutlands told me they were actually two pairs and had the same application across trhe body - the Front Left was interchangeable with the Right Rear and similarly, FR with LR.

This seemed counter to what I thought, perhaps Front L and R are the same because of the body curve profiles are symmetrical from L to R.
