    I made the main mounting bolt a one hander like the adjuster, makes everything so easy, also I can change a belt out roadside lickety split if needed

    Next time I'm in the water stuff I'm going to flip the water pipe so it's in the ex AC pump locality, it's so damn close to the alt pulley. Fired it up, batt light went off like it should, no need to rev, went out driving for a few hours, I swear it runs smoother stronger, must have been a low output before it died. I'm sure I've added 20hp, think I'm up to 325hp now

    Noo.. Tell me that you didn't buy it! I have two just gathering dust over here. And that one is a repro, notice how it has no soft liner nor any leather but at only $800 I guess that there's no reason to quibble. Good color match too! ;-)

    Well I might've made it, can't remember now, that was yesterday. Worked like a charm. Put 350 miles on it today, only managed to leak one quart of oil for the whole day. Shift shaft seal is on the radar

    It's been awhile, but I managed to drag my lifeless body down to the shop and do the dreaded sway bar link replacement. It's the last piece of evidence of the wheel falling off, probably doing 170mph, I'm not sure. It's not really documented. Feels like a criminals car so probably 170mph. Anyway let's begin. I'll use pictures and basic language so some of you knuckle draggers can follow along

    Now pulling out the old link usually requires dropping the engine but I found a sideways cheat around, I grabbed my trusty 17 and 19mm socket and was able to "loosen" the sway bar, I know, crazy. I pulled it down and the link showed its ugly side to me

    Corrosion was evident, it's clear why I wasn't getting the formula 1 driving feel I'm use to, shaft is rusticated, little wire brushing, sprayed on some rust converter and it's ready, I also sprayed a little corrosion inhibitor on the aluminum and reassembled

    So in conclusion I've been able to increase horsepower up by 4, I've done the math so I know it's true. The old link is available for sale, I'm asking $500. So please make your offers with that minimum in mind

    I thought it was the 348 and up models that required the engine out swaybar link/bushing replacement.

    I finally scored a day off and decided to install a clutch inspection cover. I've never had one so I ran out to the mailbox to see if any one of you guys sent me one. Nope. Empty. I know I've never asked but still. Rude. I went ahead and made a little pattern then fashioned the shape in light weight Boeing aircraft material, think space ship type stuff. I had ten minutes so I put an official unicorn engraving on top so there's no mistake that it covers magic.

    Thank goodness this thread is alive again! Now, if you could design a rainbow shooting out of that unicorn ' s backside I think you'd really have something! By the way, when are you coming over to the shop to pick up that balancer for the helicopter? You know darn well that thing will never be air worthy without it.

    Whoa! Hold your horses, I dumped the amp and put a modern radio back in with hands free device. I was super tired steering with one hand and texting with the other, some lady pulled up next to me to give me the business, I almost had to set my beer down to respond. So according to ferraris formula, by ditching the 5 pound amp I've only gained 7 horses
