What type of watches (preferably chronographs) do you guys and gals where? Are there any nice ferrari chronographs? What are some good websites? I found nice sites with ferrari clothing and assorted items, but no ferrari watches.

I found this one, but it's about $92,000 more than I want to spend.

I quit wearing a wrist watch. Back in my working days I use to wear a "Wing Commander," by Chase Durer. It supported my other passion, flying.

Girrard-Perragaux's and Cartier Pasha SS look nice without being over the top.

lots of good watch threads in other off topic.

Likewise, with my love of flying there was always the ultimate watch for the classic aviator - the classic Breitling Navitimer. For me, none are better and I wear mine every day.

Nope, it has to be a Thomas Gref "Oceanic" dive watch for me! Best dive watch made, including Rolex.

But it said $92,500/4! So that would mean it's only....$23,125...never mind.

I wear a Chopard Mille Miglia chrono. Outstanding watch that is very easy to read. If you want a Ferrari watch (the real deal not fake) then there are only 2 manufactures: Girard Perregeaux and Panerai. Take a look at their web sites or ebay. Both are worth the money.

If you want to connect to the history and soul of the Ferrari brand, get a vintage Heuer. Those "Ferrari" branded watches are a little tacky, with a bit of a Members Only vibe IMO (but that's a very subjective opinion, no right or wrong there); some of the newer G-P ones are nicer.

Anyway, Heuer sponsored F-1 for years and also was a major Ferrari sponsor back in the day. The "Heuer" logo is on some of the greatest F-cars of the sports car/prototype era. And they're high quality, precise timepieces. Virtually all the stopwatches and timers and rally clocks of the era were Heuer. Those who know will know.

The vintage Heuer chronos cost anywhere from $1K-$3K. There are beautiful vintage Rolex chronos (pre-Daytona) that are pretty rare and unique ($10K). I haven't priced any of these for a while, so I could be off...

    Happy hunting.

I just started wearing a Hublot Big Bang and love it!!!

Also any Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore is an amazing chronograph.

I think we might have a few chronographs here ;)

I wear a Rolex two tone Submariner with blue dial
or a Tag Heuer Monaco Steve McQueen. Love them both.
I've got my eye on a Jaeger Reverso as well.

Actually, Girrard Perragaux is no longer licensed with Ferrari. Their current licenseee is Panerai. You can still find the Perragaux Ferrari models NOS, but they are no longer manufacturing new Ferrari models. The Panerai ones are quite nice, and of a very high quality.
