Next Detail - I have a broken Cibie Light Lens that needs to get replaced. Would anyone have a replacement lens ? I've call around and have watch e-bay for over a year with no luck except a brand new pair of lights out of europe only in which I only need a lens. Information on the lens. Any help would be appreciated. Rectangular Unit - Markings on lens read - 136 and 128 one above the other. Also it has HR in a square in the middle of the lens and SAE 02, E2, CIBIE IODE. At the back of the reflector it has G1 made in France 7'.
Euro 308 QV uses the same lights. I'm sure countless other cars do too. Try finding carb'd carello fog lights in clear! Crowndog in the 308 section has a spare set of the cibie lights you need.
Hi Guys, Would anyone have any leads to find a replacement lens as indicated above in first post. I've been looking all over and haven't had any luck. I've tried several part houses and have come up empty and have been looking on e-bay continuously with no luck as of yet. I tied Newman's lead but they didn't have it either. There is a company in the UK doing vintage headlamp restoration: Vintage Headlamp Restoration, Classic car lamps and vintage headlamps, VHR They do not list Cibie on their web pages, but perhaps it would be worthwhile to ask them for advice about the replacement of this lens.
