Enjoyed a very tasty little smoke yesterday. Had an Oliva Cain and enjoyed an Oliva Serie G I believe w/ aged Cameroon wrapper. What a tasty smoke!
Just enjoyed a nice Perdomo lot 32, quite a tasty smoke for the price. Will be enjoying another one of these soon!
Nice! I hope to squeeze in one this weekend, weather permitting. As for the answer to why smoke cigars, for me too it's really more about the experience than anything else. Part of the appeal for me is, I was raised around cigar smokers, Dad, uncles, grandpa... so just the smell of a cigar has positive connotations. It also is one of my favorite ways to relax. A great cigar, a glass of wine or a drink or even a beer, and the worries of the day melt away. Add a nice fire on a warm spring or summer day and they add up to some of my favorite moment in life. Toss in a friend or three and it's unbeatable!!
As he lives in PNW, just tosses in new friends, not old growth, like his pal, Redd Wood. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Found the time to enjoy a Cohiba Robusto yesterday evening ... accompanied by a double shot of Lagavulin single malt on ice ... out at sea ...
Enjoyed a Cohiba Siglo lV last night watching the rain fall.... You should try a Partagas series D no. 4 , they are one of the best robusto's out there...
Tonight I'm kicking off the outdoor smoking season in my backyard with a Montecristo no 2 Image Unavailable, Please Login
agreed ... another of my favourites ... but the series P 2 is an outstanding cigar IMHO ... & quite different from the D 4 ...
Uh no, it's a no 2 (torpedo)... I had to lop off an inch from the end because the wrapper started to peel off...
Only if wood is running low and they are "seasoned" enough to burn nicely!! Otherwise you just get a bunch of stinky smoke!! I made it out golfing one night last week and had one of the cigars I got in trade from either Tamas or Kyle. My memory fails me on which one it was but I think it was a Perdomo?? For some reason it seemed to be kind of dry and split a bit but was still a tasty way to cruise around the course!! Going to be an absolutely amazing night tonight here so I am planning on firing up the grill for beer-butt-chicken and will then indulge in a nice smoke after dinner!! And I will try not to throw any friends on the fire this time!!
Well that's crappy! It was most likely the Perdomo2 with the red wrapper. I have just started enjoying Perdomo Lot 23 cigars, delish! I haven't had a smoke in awhile but will surely get out in the next couple of days. Your smokes are gone as well and must rank that Don Pepin one at the top. I even tried getting a similar one at the local store. It looked the same but a Red wrapper, wasn't the same .
You talked me into it. Lit up a Don Pepin myself tonight. They are tasty. Let me know if you cant find any of the gold band. I have a few left I think and may have to restock before long anyway. A cigar, a beer, a beer butt chicken and a fire on an 80°+ day here in the NW. Life is good.
Had the Opus X out of the 2011 CFCf Toast across America 2 pack yesterday. So smooth and creamy it didn't even resemble a normal Opus X, I wonder how long it aged on top the 3 years.... Fantastic smoke if anyone has a two pack still.
Two smokes today, by accident, but can't complain. Fuente King T was the first but the wrapper was falling apart about half way through. That's okay since they gave me a nice deal on a Davidoff Nicaraguan. Man that Davidoff...
Had both the Davidoff Nicaraguan and the Davidoff 2000 at The Preakness yesterday. Both were great smokes.
