AJ is doing some weird wizardry with his new sticks and pricing. The New World, New World Connecticut, and Enclave are all very modestly priced and offer a ton of value and flavor complexity.

I have been smoking a bunch of Warped Cigars. The La Hacienda and La Colmena are just fantastic.

Man I have been enjoying a ton of good things.

Warped La Hacienda - absolutely stunning cigar in terms of complexity and depth of flavors.

La Palina Red Label - very very good, mild cigar. Great in the morning.

Latelier La Mission - another home run by Pete Johnson. Big spearmint flavor and is unique.

Warped La Colmena - these are only in 36 and 44 ring gauge formats. I happen to love smaller ring gauge and I think both of these are the absolute best mild-medium cigar on the market.

New World Connecticut by AJ Fernandez - these are hell of a value. Every day price and burns so smooth.

Casa de Zabala 1936 Elegante - if you like super rich and bold coffee, chocolate and you like a lot of My Father stuff, check out this line. Under $10 and a great first offering from a true boutique brand (they have their own Tabacalera in Nica). Careful though, these pack a huge punch in the last third.

La Palina Family series Miami - always have been good but pricey cigars, but these are made at Titan de Bronze in Miami and actually slightly cheaper than the original from Graycliff. Blend is improved too. The Pasha (7x49) comes in a coffin for about $20 and is worth 100% of that price.

    1926 #6 natural.
Flavor so good but the draw is so free and effortless it's slightly off putting.
    Guess I will struggle through!

Just met a group of bikers from Evansville! Told them about the cigar hot spot in town.

For me this is all I could find tonight in Colorado.

I havent been around these parts much lately. Been avoiding smoking as the air quality around me has been pretty poor lately due to a massive number of wildfires all over the state of WA. Has made for some amazing sunsets but not much good on the ole lungs. Things finally cleared out and with breathing back to normal I decided to try out a smoke the other night and lit up a Short Story. Tasted and smelled pretty good so went a bit bigger with a Flor Fina tonight. Both great ways to transition back into it.

Wow, sorry to hear that about the fires...It saddens me to think of all the acreage of Forests that go up in smoke... No pun intended...

Yeah its been pretty epic. They were able to show the smoke on the regular weather satellite a few days it was so bad. Getting a little rain this weekend at least on the west side of the state. Hopefully some will make it far enough east where the worst of the fires are.

Enjoyed it very much and lasted almost a perfect 9 holes! I will certainly need to pick some up as well going into the future. Very easy to smoke on the greens. Body doesn't knock you out, very easy draw (atleast on my stick), and it still packs some nice flavour.

I'm looking to get a few more in this year. Have at least 1 more planned with my brother again and most likely will find time next week to hit 18 again as well.

EDIT: I couldn't stop laughing my brother beached himself in the WORST place I have ever seen. He is about 1 foot from the end of the bunker with half of that foot being covered by shrubs. You can see how tall the grass is in front of him and the lie is just brutal. It is the worst spot in the worst location on the hole and he nailed it!

Didn't take a picture but Glen Eagle (the course we played at) has a crazy 650 yard Par 5. Was very happy about a bogey on that hole.

This is the video of his first attempt, https://instagram.com/p/7G8jZkshf5/?taken-by=thekesz

Well I had to cancel yet another beautiful day of golf.... So I'm consoling myself with a Cohiba Piramedes by the pool... A good kickoff to the long weekend nonetheless...

Enjoy! Looks like a great setting for a killer cigar!

I've been slammed here at the shop this week! Getting ready for our Fuente Event to benefit Children's Hospital of Cincinnati. Sitting on a pile of Opus X and Destino Al Siglos.

In the meantime I've got an excellent La Palina Allison.
