well, i posted this but oh well. i bought a box of 7 h. upmann's, one of my favorite brands, for 15 bucks at one of my local shops a few days ago, smoked one and the rest i'll be taking back to school with me. it was called "the cigar smoker's diary" and came in a magnetically sealed box. lol, i had to smoke one so i could fit a small humidor stick in there to keep them moist for the next week until i can put them in my real humidor. an amazing cigar for an amazing value, you can't go wrong there.

WEll on christmas I got a few cigars from my uncle Conch republic key west blends it was the first cigar I smoked and I liked it. But I have never smoked so I dont know good from bad. Anyone know if that brand is any good, maybe some suggestions on cheap cigars.

If you are looking for something good that isn't expensive try the Padron regular line. I smoke the delicias all the time. They are about $2 each. Low price doesn't mean bad all the time. No matter what I try I always come back to these.

Another low price good cigar is the Fuente 858.

    I've had one. Was boring.

I will always recommend Romeo y Julieta Vintage. They are just a great smoke. Only $7 a stick.

I like the VSG's they remind me of the Padron 64's. Goes to show you how everyone has to find their own tastes.

    Original post got deleted, but:

For a very enjoyable cigar, go buy a Davidoff. I bought a Davidoff Diademan Finas 2006 and by far, it was the most enjoyable cigar I have ever smoked. It burt perfectly and drew well. It is a very well constructed cigar. Opus X, Cohiba, etc., they are all great cigars, but are the really ENJOYABLE? They are so complex and harsh sometimes, that they cannot be enjoyed. Go buy one today.

Noah, have you tried one? I'll have to send you one, you are missing out.

    Which Cigar?

I've had a Cuban Cohiba, wasn't really impressed. I've had an Opus X, they are very good.

^ Davidoff. Any series and size really, they are pretty consistent with their quality and flavor.
