    Thought this was amusing...

What an invaluable use of our limited resources. Let me get this straight. Instead of drug interdiction and preventing illegal immigrants from crossing the border, they're going to put the choke hold on 2 (yes, just TWO) master criminals who brought in cuban cigars (admittedly, 27,000 is a lot), rum (42 bottles) and coffee? That's just freakin' perfect. Hilarious! And, while I think they should be punished in some way (wrist slap?), a 20-year sentence seems to me to be cruel and unusual.

“We want to make it clear that ICE and its law enforcement partners will not tolerate the exploitation of our country’s immigrations and customs laws and will investigate, arrest, and hold accountable those who do.”

Thanks, ICE. Keep up the good work. While you were chasing these two bozos down, I'm guessing that several thousand illegal immigrants crossed over and millions of dollars of illegal drugs were imported. That's keeping the eye on the ball! I feel so much safer that you're on the job.
