I am toying with the idea of an F12 and playing on the configurator. The two tone leather combo of primary cioccolato with secondary of Iroko seems classy and intriguing to me. The colors on the configurator aren't reality though. Does anyone have any photos of F12s (or FF, 458) that may have those colors either individually or in combo? (I was thinking of Grigio Titanio for exterior, a lot of CF, yellow calipers, and white stitching.) Many thanks.
Hi, Pics of my Grigio Silverstone / Iroko / Black 458 Spider are here. The stitching is Grigio Scuro http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/458-italia/446339-my-new-2014-spider.html Cioccolato is a darker brown than Iroko. To me, under normal lighting Iroko looks like milk chocolate. Last year I saw a Ferro / Cioccolato that was stunning. Not sure how well Cioccolato / Iroko would look as there might not be enough contrast. Best bet is to check out the samples at a dealer. Hope this helps.
Thanks! Looked through all 101 pages of the F12 picture thread and saw a couple examples. Not much in the way of contrast, going more for a tone on tone effect.
Here's the Iroko interior on my white 458. Not the greatest shot but hope it helps. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Fairly terrible phone pix of cioccolato interior on FF, taken while cleaning up. Useful only for getting an idea of the color tone. Black stitching and embroidered horse.... very conservative. Image Unavailable, Please Login
