I got a call about my car from someone from citi auto brokers.

Have anyone heard or know anything about this company? Their domain name was registered on 12-17-2010.

They said that they have a buyer and they want me to fax my window sticker to them.
    Should I do it?

Are you selling your car? Do you have it listed for sale elsewhere?

I was bombarded with these sorts of calls when I placed an ad for my last Porsche on autotrader. These people promise they will sell your car, blah blah etc. etc. They really want your money.

    Ignore them.

I had other brokers wanting me to list my car with them for a fee, but these guys say they have an interested buyer and just want to see a copy of the window sticker. Is there any harm in sharing the window sticker?

No real harm. You can black out the VIN if you really want to be careful. However, I think it's just part of the ploy -- if they can get you to fax the window sticker they are more likely to move you (or their prospect) along their sales cycle to list the car for a fee.

I don't believe them. I heard similar claims.
