How did you know I owned a Volvo? I parked it a fair way away... lol

Anyway, it's okay as runabout. At least it's light (1450kg), as am I (66kg), and with the 'sports' suspension handles surprising well, all things considered...

The chassis is very strong and with 4 airbags, it's a safe car, surpassing that of E36 BMW 3 series' and '90s Merc C-classes.

Are there any full frontal shots of the F430?

I think I really like that mod!

Good to see that someone was smart enough to buy the sensible brake option.

I realy thought the bleeders on the calipers were pretty awsome!

And with cf brakes and most compsite brakes u have to warm them up.

Does anyone know what the wear and tear of these brakes are like?

Appalling, and the cost of replacement parts will make your eyes bleed. TOTAL

Didn't AHG only get 5000km out of a complete set of pads.. F and R..

and new ones are about $10k +... that's pads only, no discs.

But, he did do predominantly track days, and I understand his pads were not completely gone, he was just cautious by replacing them a little early.

There'll be cheaper options for spares very soon (6 months?), so I think that Ceramics would be an ok thing, if buying a used car.

Wouldn't pay for the option myself though. Steelies are ok for 95% of us.

Yeah mhh realy liked the color coded front i realy liked it too!

Makes the silver look, well wierd and out of place.

I meen sure silver trimming is in fashon on cars.

But color coded gives it more flowing and Connected lines as you will!

And mhh again thanks for taking me in your lambo, i will remember that gestrue for the rest of my life and when im studying i will think of it to motivate me.

    Legend!

And when i heard yasir's car, i almost wet my pants, awsome sound, deep and loud but not obnoxious! cool looking system with an awsome fit too! and everyone agreed on that!

He did the equivalent of 4 track days and 6000km in total. I think the replacement pads were $5kish. He got a discount because of how ridiculous the situation was.

Thanks mhh. I think it makes the F430 look less 'nose heavy', if you follow me! :)

I ran 1 min 49 secs in my standard 360 on Hoosiers at the Island and a 62ish at Calder (from memory) with ZERO fade on standard brakes fitted with track pads. I haven't seen anyone get near that in a standard car (so far). There is no reason to spend $40k on ceramic brakes as far as I am concerned.

I think the brake option is way to excessive.

    I LOVE IT :)

Thats what exotics are about excess :D
