Here are a few pics from this weekend's show, of a unique and really nice 308 on display. I met the owner and he also has a Lambo Jalpa, which he's had at a previous edition of this show earlier this year and the North Van show this past summer. Cool guy.

He bought this car earlier this year, which came out of California. He believes this is the original paint. I think it really suits the 308. Certainly stands out in a sea of boring red.

I don't care too much for these annual hot-rod shows, but when I stumble onto entries like these, it makes it worthwhile and why I always go back.

Instead of displaying my car, I drove mine to this show... Even in the lousy weather. I hadn't driven it in a long time, so I really enjoyed it!

    Peter,
That is very cool, and unusual color for a 308; first I have ever seen.

Can you post any interior or engine pics? This car looks pretty original from what I see.

BTW, I am arranging for a go-kart event with the local FCA in late January... will keep you guys up in BC posted, in case any of you would like to drive down and challenge us. ;)

Yes, first time I've seen this colour too... Well, my 1:18 Hotwheels DeTomaso Pantera is painted in this very same colour, but that's just a toy!

I've got an interior shot, but haven't taken it off the camera yet. I'll do that later. He was kind-of embarrased about the condition of the car (I thought it looked alright. Its a driver, but still good shape), especially saying the engine was way dirty. He only had the lid open for a second to put his jacket in the trunk, so I didn't get a shot, but it looked complete - even the emissions pump was there.

I kept reassuring the guy that he shouldn't worry about how good and shiny it should look, rather that he brought it out and that he drives it... Every other hot-rod and classic at that show was trailered there... Sad.

Keep us informed about that Kart race!
