I know auctions are a sensitive subject but for those who care, www.classiccarriages.com is having a car auction this weekend. Starts tomorrow at the new Cardinals football stadium in Glendale.

Is there a confirmation that it is actually going to be sold?

I spoke to an auction official yesterday. The car will not actually be at the show. It is scheduled to arrive in the US around may...they said they ran into some setbacks with getting the car into the US...The rights to purchase the car will be auctioned off. I believe that's supposed to happen on Saturday late afternoonish. The winning bidder will take delivery of the car when it arrives in the US. Now, I'm not stating this as gospel...I'm just relaying what I was told. I will try to find out more specific details.

Just got back from the auction and looking forward to going back tomorrow The Koenigsegg will not be there, it is actually still in production and is scheduled to arrive around the 18th of May. For their first auction, Classic Carriages has gone beyond my expectations. Close to 400 cars and 100 motorcycles is nothing to balk at. The stadium is such a cool venue for a car auction. I saw 2 308's go across the auction block and got mid $30k bids, a few grand short of reserve. One of them was light blue w/ light blue interior and < 6k original miles. I would recommend checking out the auction if you have some time on Sat. or Sun. There are some heavy duty muscle cars and some more ferraris going through tomorrow (Sat.). I will be there bidding on "my little friend" as well. You can also bid on cars through Proxibid.com

I will have some pics for you guys if I remember my camera tomorrow.
