Expensive, but unbelievable work. Used them to fix a car that another body shop had screwed up, and that no one else could figure out the problem on.

Sound like you should call Wil and visit our shop, Exoticars USA. We're in Frenchtown, NJ, about 50 minutes West of Classic Coach. We can handle rust/paint issues and anything mechanical related to long storage (fluids, brakes, clutch, mouse nest, whatever).

Hey Sandy! Good to see that you are still around and posting. How are things with Wil and you? And whatever happened to that gorgeous 1999 Blue 355B?

Auraraptor check out my buddies shop www.cavalloautobody.com They do great work and have a great reputation in the tri-state area. If you want to check out the shop or anything just call them up and ask for Marty. Tell him Erik Panichi told you about the shop, and they will take care of you.

Wow, you have an awesome memory! Yep I still lurk a bit. If we had an F-car I'm sure we'd both be daily visitors AND actually attend some get togethers (like that very photogenic Times Square run - pretty cool!) but as it is we're too busy working on the cars and taking care of business and kids to be regulars. This is a great board.

I suppose I'm not really at liberty to say much about the fate of that blue 355 - don't even know what it sold for but I think it went back to a dealer this spring.

I redesigned our website last month so stop by and take a look. It's a business site, not an enthusiast's site, but I am trying to keep adding photos and now videos to make it more interesting and share the view from our shop. I confess, my videos are pretty rough right now! but I have great plans to improve the quality because we're in an ideal position to easily film some great cars and the scenery (rural, river views, lots of trees) is nice background.

Stop in to look around if you are out this way.

    Ciao,
    Sandy

Thanks for the update. I checked out the site - it looks great, and we look forward to it continuing to be augmented as you add more features. We'll certainly give you and Wil a shout if our travels lead us your way. Until then, hope you continue posting...and come visting the New York Tri-State forum. The EC Boyz are a little rough around the edges, but to know 'em is to love 'em. ;)

    Best.

Thanks! We have a few classic Ferraris and a yellow Maranello coming in during the next couple weeks so I hope to fix my video problems and get some better clips for our site.

I'm glad you brought up the 355. I was supposed to email some interested people, F-chatters, about what the car went for but we changed isp's and my old emails got swallowed up on the harddrive - can't find them <:O

Fact is CC is as good as they come with proven record his cars have won Pebble Beach SEVERAL times, with that said , price is $75.00 an hour not cheap, but you get what you pay for, and the job gets done right, any bodywork on my cars get done by them, small or big. lots of times you want to save a buck and you pay much more later on.

We charge competitive rates for our first class bodywork. We've won many concours first places including FCA National. We do panel fabrication, lead work, first class finishes and we don't rely on tons of bondo like some people. Give us a try - come out and enjoy beautiful, peaceful Frenchtown and stop in to visit our shop.

Sandy, thank you for the offer, but first step is getting my car back...which is still a ways off. *sigh* When that happens, then we shall see.

Just wondering, how much do you charge/hr? (I know this is only one factor of many...case in point, one local shop charges 100/hr, but they are very quick about any work, so their estimates and times in the end of hours are always low, while another charges $65, but take forever!)

We charge $80 for mechanical and $70 for body work. You are right of course, if the work is done quickly then $100 an hour can be a good deal. We do the work correctly, not cheaply and we consistently get good results. You can win at a concours with our work if you're willing to pay for it, but we will never do a maaco job.

Sorry you don't have your car - hope you get it back soon.

    Sandy
