Saw a classic Ferrari on the country roads this morning. Looked like a 250 Testa Rossa, but had a clear engine cover. Think it might have been a 250TR60?

Was it likely to have been a replica? Or did I just spot an ultra rare Ferrari?

Looked in mint condition and utterly gorgeous!

At Autoitalia at Brooklands last May, there was a frighteningly good replica of one of those I believe, so I'd be more inclined to believe that you saw a replica, but you never know.....

    Tony, already have mate :)

Sletti - indeed. Someone replied to my thread in vintage:

99% sure it was a replica. There are several replicas still in England, the only real ones are with Chip Connor, Hong Kong (who usually keeps his cars in California) and John Mozart, California. Additionally, the McCaw brothers have the two TR59s in Washington State.

I presume they are the McCaws of McCaw Cellular fame.....never made a penny profit but still sold their company for hundreds of millions!
