Niki Hasler AG, official Swiss Ferrari dealer in Basel, and officially authorized Officina Ferrari Classiche, held its inaugural Giro Classiche in the Swiss canton of Jura today. A day of driving through the lovely Swiss countryside, with no fewer than 27 classic Ferraris coming from all over Switzerland. The oldest participating Ferrari was a 250 GT Lusso, the newest one a gunmetal grey Testarossa. No fewer than six Berlinetta Boxers, two 275 GTS Spider, Daytonas, four 330/365 GTC's, 365 GT 2+2's and even a 412 in the rare Prugna color took part. Guest of honor was Roberto Otttoviano from the Ferrari Factory in Maranello, responsible for Aftersales.
Here are some shots taken today at Niki Hasler AG, which was the starting point in Basel, Switzerland.

Amazing variety. Love the color on the 412, Daytona non plexi and 275 gtb!

Love em all. That Euro 308 QV really stands out. Our 308 QVs here in the U.S. are really restricted.

    No.
That color didn't exist yet in 1962-1964.

    Incorrect information.
Swiss police does NOT provide a photo. All they send is a letter (with a payment slip) but without picture proof. If you want a photo for proof one has to separately purchase the photographic proof for a hefty additional amount.

It is a 365 GT4 BB with S/N 18041, original color Grigio Ferro (steel grey), and the original owner was Dr. Peter Schetty who got the car in lieu of payment from the factory. 18041 is one of just five 365 GT4 BB's originally painted Grigio Ferro and the only one with a Rosso VM 893 leather interior. The other four had either a beige or a blue leather interior.

Grigio Ferro with Rosso interior is a perfect combination and the 365 GT/4 BB one of the most beautiful cars on earth compared with later Pininfarina designs.
    Here's 246GT #05028 with same colors.
    Thanks again.

Photographic proof has to be provided for a German registered car. Not so for Swiss-registered cars.

The Niki Hasler AG Giro Classiche Jura was a Swiss Event in Switzerland with Swiss registered Ferraris only. Twenty seven participated. A huge success.

All credit to Niki Hasler for promoting the event, many more Ferrari dealers should remember what Ferrari means in terms of heritage.
