This is probably my favourite Dodge product since the original Viper.

Love it. I'd wait for the manual though.

Dodge dealers have been taking orders for the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 since December, asking $37,995 per copy. There will be 6,400 made before the car is joined by other models in the Challenger range a year later. These will probably include variants all the way down to a 2.7-liter V6 version, with maybe even an all-wheel-drive model.

^^Wish they didn't have to do that, but gotta make money some how I suppose.

slower then the original... add decent tires to the original and it's a lot slower. Pretty sad when the new one weighs more and has less torque.

I've been really disappointed with all the cars in this range lately based on their weight. These cars all need a diet. The Mustang, this, and probably the new Maro as well.

I really like it ....however it will add to the a specific group of SRT drivers ( 300, Charger) that think they are driving a Ferrari and Bentley at the same time. I saw a guy yesterday at the gas station in a Charger, lean back on the wheel, revving motor, cool guy with the girl- all I was doing was filling up my CLK....sad.
