A red book elicits no positive emotional response. If any it would be a negative. There is a great deal of antipathy for the entire program. We politely ignore it. Seriously....we could give a ****. But this year with the huge shortage of judges I understand one or two work for Ferrari. Lots of strangers I have never heard of. Now Canossa is trying very hard to reverse that. If fact for Ferraris benefit they have added a special class for certified cars. One of the reasons so many are losing interest. Canossa is blatantly becoming a sales agent for Ferrari.
I just want my book signed by Piero [emoji2956][emoji41][emoji2956] I don’t need to buy friends or ego stroking by Boardwalk. Truly appreciate Chris, Collin and Steve. Car is truly original and pretty special. Never been much for “showing” or wow, look at me. BUT, not very often, one gets to own something special. Some could care less. To me, never had the pleasure of a truly special car. If others do not think so, ok fine. We all have our ideas or opinions. Ferrari is in the market of selling new cars, manufacturing cars and global brand growth and technology. I appreciate the old ones. The simple ones and the innovations that we all lusted after when obtaining one of these was just a dream. I am enjoying my dream. I have a bunch of 1990’s and early 2000’s vehicles. This is the pinnacle of that dream. Cheers! …..And Happy New Year!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ferrari Charges $3500 produce book and have Mr. Ferrari sign it. Dealer charges $1500 in Labor to collect the specific photographs required, document condition, serial numbers, etc. - Fluff, LOL. I think it is pretty reasonable. My prayer is Piero will sign my book before his days on earth are done. Not getting any younger. The next generation is not the same and how many people have that book? F Club local member received his book last spring for his F40. A well respected member and Toyota dealer - Pat Loeb. Was a pleasure to visit with him and his enthusiasm was warm and welcoming. It may be gimmicky to some and not the provenance that it once was with the early cars, the truly special and rare cars that were raced and modified. Finding and sourcing those parts or history not as difficult on a “modern” car. But it is a cool book, documenting the vehicle, the Ferrari brand and signed by Piero. Enough for me and maybe others. you should have a look at Tim Doyle’s 355, it is one of the best in the world, much less just Boardwalk. Image Unavailable, Please Login I still don’t understands the insecurities of your life to talk about your 355 being the greatest or why that would even matter to begin with. If anything means your car wasn’t enjoyed and you won’t enjoy it as meant either. There are probably 50 of us 355 owners in DFW that appreciate what we have, but also happy others get that special experience too. It isn’t a comparison unless you’re insecure about your dick size.
For all the work they have to do $1500 is a great deal. When our TR was certified the dealer charge was quite a bit higher. And Piero was not signing them back then.
I don't remember where I heard the statement, possibly here on fchat. Glad to hear was never a requirement. Makes the consideration easier.
You gotta love people who say really uninformed stuff like that. I bet he said it at the same time he was being very critical of it.
If I could go back in time, it l would have kept my 1999 GTB. It was a nice spec with unique and rare options, but the car definitely had signs of neglect that I corrected, and I could live with the minor imperfections. This car is something I am less likely to drive a lot, and that is ok. I really love my Tesla and our 2023 Bronco for obvious alternative reasons, but when I want to hear the scream of ripping Italian ponies, then nothing will beat this car. We all love the 355 for that, except John, lol. I may buy a 512bb in the next few years for the completion of my Ferrari journey, or just buy a house in Maine and a Subaru [emoji1787][emoji1787] For now, I have a nice one, no stories, no excuses and no insecurities or measuring of any appendages. Got the call, the car is about done. In detail and will pick up tomorrow about lunch time. Will take some pics. $21,506.xx out the door with Classiche, major service, pull trans for rear main seal, tires, odds and ends, plus a detail/light buff. Will trailer home and tuck away for Amelia at end of February. Then Spring driving and shows. After Amelia, I think I will add challenge grill, bolt on the fancy unknown exhaust, valve and maybe my F50 steering wheel….. or start shopping for another driver [emoji1787] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Interesting site. Not sure what an F1 will do, but that condition is stunning! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That's quite a grudge, Rob! I was there that weekend, and am kind of glad. I get a kick out of being able to say I was there for such a weird race.
