    This was one of the nicest car shows I have attended....Location was the Half Moon Bay Ritz Carlton. Cars were placed on the hilly golf course after being staged in the fire lane of the entrance road (at first this was annoying, but it did result in minimal idling in traffic trying to get onto the green). The weather was perfect because it was cloudy untill about 1pm, so the usual "bake in the sun at the car show" problem was no longer an issue. The drive in the lifting fog was spectacular. And who does not prefer a Ritz bathroom to the usual car show latrine?
    My wife and daughter had another engagement, so I went with only with my son. He got a Corvette model car and I took advantage of the LaCrema wine tasting and the free beer (up to a point, I needed to drive the precious cargo back). Variety of cars was nice, although there was a clear American iron bias, with Cadillac being the featured marque. That is OK, particularly since I am keeping an eye out for a nice Caddy convert to add to my collection. The show had a very nice sound track piped in through the speakers and the usual annoying booming announcer was not present, like at other shows. I met some nice folks and ran into a few usual suspects (John, Jon, and Art). You can see the 275 GTB, GTS, and a PF coupe, along with my GTE. But mostly...my 4 year old in the phone camera pics

    I think I will be back next July 31st.....

    Thanks for the report. I wish they had this event when I lived there a few years ago, but the Ritz had just been built. Sounds like a nice affair.

    So - anyone up for contributing some funds to buy Luke a real digital camera?! :)

    I deleted mine because it was discussing the pros and cons of the phone Luke mentioned...I didn't want to take the thread that far off-topic. Besides, I am trying to kick my f-chat habit, so I want to keep my post count down.

    I guess this doesn't help. :)
