It was with lots of sadness that I read a letter from Classy Chassis organizers yesterday informing that the event is no longer alive. I was really looking forward for its 10th edittion, but for some reason or conbination of reasons it has been cancelled. It was an excellent event benefiting Shriners Hospital for Children, in addition to being a great car show for Houston and Texas. I won a small award with the Volvo P1800 car and I will sherish those moments and the troffee for a long time. Thanks to the organizers for puting that show together for 9 wonderfull years. Cheers.

I wonder if the reason for ending it was really their lack of time (it must be extremely time consuming), or some other issue. possibly Reliant Stadium related...or legal stuff. They were raising lots of funds for Shriners Hospital. it will be missed.

Damn that sucks. I worked the show (just cleaning vehicles) for the last 2 years and loved it. Hopefully they'll bring it back later on.
