I'm sorry if this has been asked before - search came up empty.

The targa top on my 348 is looking pretty worn. It's more of a white/black than a pure black. I'm pretty sure it's sun damage.

I'm assuming a coat of black paint is an option - I assume there are other alternatives. Polish/wax/chemical? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Erik

I cleaned my top up using only armour-all. Brought back a nice consistent black colour and any blemishes just seem to dissapear.

I tried a variety of treatments on mine and the only thing that really holds is a rubber/plastic treatment. The top is molded fiberglass. Waxd does not really work for very long. Zymol seemed to look better the longest, but only because of its oil content. Which got me thinking about rubber/plastic treatments. So now I use a decent quality exterior rubber restorer. Try a rubber cleaner first, then use Klassic or Zymol Vinyl or something really good. Armor All if you have to, but I personally do not like their products. I have not tried Meguire's plastic polish, but taht's a possibility. No abrassives, however.
