Thanks its actually really easy. Well and been doing this. for my whole life but allways love to learn more and get better
Just got them back yesterday. Getting some small things done. And waiting on 2 new fuel lines, saw a small crack in the main fuel line. Its been on order. But yes I think in a couple days fire it back up.
1 hose came on need the other. And teaching my son basic body work skills. I remember when I was 9 the DA was so fun. Yes those are CS side skirts. And on the fuel line it was nice to see a 2016 date. Got to make sure a 21 year old car is good and safe Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very very COOL !! Bad fuel lines and fuel pumps have burnt down more Ferraris than any thing else. Where did you get your CS side skirts ?
Look inside the side skirts and see if there is a little silver tag if so they are factory if not they are pattern.
Yep but crazybthe chopped fiber glass one one is alot more coarse Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
You got very lucky !! Factory CS bumpers and side skirts look very rough on the inside and out side before prepping and painting . My painter said these have to be fake maybe made in Asia ? Called Eurospares talked to Neil he emailed Ferrari there response look for those silvers tags. Reason why they looked so rough new out of the box they are hand maid and laid together. Reason not from molds to save weight .
Top one is traditional fibreglass -, likely hand laid, and the bottom one is RTM - Resin Transfer Molding. It's a later, fully automated production process.
