What type of cleaner is best for cleaning the clear plastic rear "window" on spiders? No matter how well I dry the car after washing, it gets a film of water spots and I don't know what to use. Thanks in advance for the help and guidance.

I buy it at Costco and it works great. When I get buildup that Spray away won't or can"t handle I use Mercedes Benz plastic window cleaner.

Do you buy Plexus online or locally. I am in Socal and would like to give it a shot.

Plexus works great! Cleans water spots extremely well. I have only found it online. You can order at autopia . org and other online sites

You've got lots of "West Marine" stores down there - They carry various "versions" of Plexus - From "polish" to "scratch removers" in different grades IIRC.

    Cheers,
    Ian

I stopped by my local Porsche parts department and purchased the rear window cleaner from them. If you remember the older Boxster's and 911's had plastic window for their cabs.

Plexus works great for routine cleaning. If the window is too dull and hazy, and the Plexus isn't working, step it up to Novus 3 step plastic polish. Then maintain it with the Plexus.

Ron, I can bring a can the next time we see each other. I think West Marine charges almost double what it should cost.
