I pulled my seats a while back for adjustments and to leatherique. I took the opportunity to clean the carpets.
They were dirty in the usual spots as well as having some grease from the chair rails.

I used a "Carpet Brush" that mounts onto my porter-cable 7336 buffer/polisher and some Resolve carpet cleaner. It did an amazing job with minimal effort. The carpets were a little damper than I would have liked, but the dry winter air took care of them in short order.

I've rented steamers in the past, but they just didn't cut it.

I did mine 2 summers back. I have my own commercial steam cleaner and love it. Best way to do your carpets is to wet them a little first. Use a sprayer. Then mix the carpet cleaner with water in a pail (you can also add some of the orange citrus cleaner sold by the gallon at Home Depot) and start to manually brush it with a hand brush. Then use the steam cleaner (upholstery wand) all over. Once done empty the carpet cleaner and refill with hot water and no soap. Go over the whole area again to remove all soap residues. If you don’t get all of the soap out, your carpets will attract dirt faster that flies to ----. Remember that when you drive with top down or windows open in the Berlinetta that the wind carries down and around the back of the seats and although you may think that area is clean, it’s not. You will see and amazing difference when it’s done and dry. Do the work on a warm sunny day and use a fan to dry the carpet when done. Mine turned out like new. The secret is to get all of the soap out. Don’t worry how went it gets because the steam cleaner will suck it all out. If you dont have a steam cleaner, spray straight water(be liberal) on with the sprayer and suck it up with and wet vac but use hot water in the spayer. For the seats and all the other leather parts, I use connolly leather car kit. Remeber to avoid getting any of these products on the black plastic parts or they may become sticky and we all know the story there.
