I just got a a small roll of clear bra to vinyl wrap my tool handles (I labeled my crimpers and had a problem with labels coming loose - clear vinyl wrap should keep the labels put and protect from wear).

Now I'm thinking if clear bra might also work good as seat bolster protector??? Did not hear about anybody using it that way, so not sure if it's a good idea or not. Want to hear what you guys think.

On a serious note, I think the leather needs to breathe.

Haha, sure but if you can find some clear upholstery vinyl that's perforated it might work. How about an extra leather sleeve made to fit over the bolster with an elastic cuff like a steering wheel cover. I have thought about cutting some extra carpet to set down on the sill plates to aid climbing in and out. It will either jam in the door when closing or slide out altogether and go flying on the highway. :D

Yeah, they're called "snow days" and on days like that our Grandmothers all yelled, "Get down off the furniture!" It's snowing and raining now and I just burned another gallon of gas in the blower last night.

I thought all modern car seats had a coat of urethane that makes them impenetrable to moisture. It can breath out the back side if it really needs to breath :)

LOL, hey maybe Stainmaster helps with wear and tear? I plan to keep up with the conditioner, and polish. Famous last words.
