Looks like my original thread was closed: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/texas/471829-paint-touch-clear-bra-recommendations.html But thought I would post what I decided to do.. On Clear Bra installed in N. Dallas Area, it came down to these 2: Invisabra and Stratashield (which is whom Boardwalk uses if I was to go through them) I decided on Invisabra, but probably couldn't go wrong with either. I stopped by and talk to Norm and Brian (whom is taking over the biz) and I just liked what I heard plus everyone else's endorsements. On the Painting, which I decided I would get the bummer repainted, again came down to these 2: Stuarts in Garland and Details Limited in Addison. I decided on Stuarts. Probably the main deciding point was they do the body and paint work for Boardwalk and other high end places, so I know they have worked with Ferrari's before.. So for future searches of clear-bra installers and paint and body work, here is some info for you to start with..
UPDATE: just got the car back from Stuarts.. They did a great job... Front-end is all repainted and ready for the clear-bra installation in a couple of weeks. They also detailed the rest of the car making the whole car look brand new... Only down side is I'm garaging the F until bra install day... I don't want to get any or as few rock dings before that is out on.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks good. On what portions of the car are you going to have the clear bra installed? Any concerns with the coating in the hot Texas sun?
Norm has done several of my cars. Most recently Brian, who bought the business from Norm, wrapped the entire front end of my Z06 and the headlights on the Mac (dealer replaced them under warranty). Both look perfect, couldn't recommend him enough.
I just got my F430 back from Brian at Invisbra, looks great.... I did the 36 inchs, which is right part the head lights. Probably almost 1/2 of the hood. Also did the side mirrors and Brian though in the spot on both sides where you open the door... Brian did a great job and I can highly recommend him. He learned Norm's skills very well.. Hot Texas sun, my car is rarely sitting in the sun. Its garage kept, of course, and I cover it a lot even when in the garage.. Work from home, so not sitting out at a work place.. So I would say it its ever sitting in the sun, its no more than 1.5 hours, like doing a lunch run or something... So not too worried there, BUT this is my first clear-bra install, so it also a wait and see...
