I, thus far, have found one company that will do a 308; through the XPEL site:

    TransGuard Automotive Products
    Mobile Service
    Boise, ID 83709
    208-724-5350

Any other recommendations so I can make an informed decision? Thanks very much.

    Hello Dane,

Im guessing this application will be a custom job. I dont see the 308 pre-computer cut design/pattern kits on Xpel site. Be sure the ask your installer about his years of experience and what types of film is being used, and the average amount of cars worked on per day. There are companies out there claim they have such and such years of experience, which some dont. I usually ask to see the business license issued date, or something... Thou, I see this company Boise has an Xpel Dealer 3-Stars rating which is good! What ares are you planning on covering, Hood,Bumper,Fender,Mirrors? What color is your vehicle?

    Hope this helped! Take care...

    -B-,

The mentioned installer asked to give him a one week advance but said a 308 was possible. He's listed on the site with a "Design Access Program" feature. I'm assuming this is because he can custom design other than listed cars. I'm looking to have the hood and fenders done. No need for my mirrors or bumper as my car's a '81 308. BTW, she's red. Thanks for the response.

Oh cool, so everything is good to go... I too have the "DAP" program for 7 years now, I dont see the 308 anywhere on the database. Custom fit is the only way to go which is good... Dont forget to ask about wrap edges on the hood, this gives that clean and seamless look, specially the area where everyone will look at most, The Hood :) Did he mention about the brand film being used?

    The web-site lists 3M (0.008"). I'll ask to verify.

Feel like making a trip to Boise for the job? :)

    Thanks very much, Dane
