I know FoNE had a guy come there and do it, I assume he's some kind of independent.

Call them up and ask. I just had my 430 spider done there. Beautiful job. Ask for Steve Olford, Service Manager.

a friend who installs Invinca-Shield. My car currently has the protection on it (hood/front bumper/mirrors/rockers/fenders)... I just wanted to add it to a few places..like around the wheel arches and the area on the back bumper right behind the rear tire where it kicks up rocks.... better be safe than sorry....

I have not had good experiences with the Autobahn brand of film compared to others in my detailing. It seems to fog up faster and scratch easier then the others IMO. I think you made the right call BD, nothing but good experiences with your film.

I'm like 90% positive (tho I could be wrong) that ***ALL*** of the film companies buy the same stock - all from 3M.

The differences are primarily in two areas: the patterns, and the skill of the installer.

I have autobahnd on two Ferraris and a Porsche, and they all look/work great, fwiw. If I was looking to get it installed today, the ONLY consideration (well, aside from price maybe) I'd have is to select the installer that has actually DONE my model before - go with the one that has done the most 360s or Gallardos or 996tt or whatever.

    vty,
