Near the end of March I posted looking for suggestions for a clear bra installer and did receive many good recommendations. Thanks Sherpa, Donoe, Detailers Paradise, Monteman, and others.

In the end I went with a recommendation from Smith Restoration who painted the nose, and used Ray Reductions in Longmont -303.651.3202.

They used 3M Scotchgard and did a really great job! Nice and small shop. Attention to detail. I think they have been in the buis around 20 years in the same location.

I wanted to post and give my recommendation if anyone is looking for a shop to install a clear bra. On their wall they have pictures of their work - Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, etc. They prefer the exotics. Who wouldn't? They also took great care pulling the car in and out of the shop. Really good stuff.

I did the entire lower bumper, upper bumper, 8" up the nose, and both headlight covers. Can you find the clear bra in the pict?

It took the good part of a day to do. The entire job was $450 hood, fender, bumper, headlights, 5 yr warranty on yellowing, bubling and cracking.

Mike, thanks for the follow up on this. The timing is great as I'm looking for an install right now. Your car looked great at Tim's place.

Are they exclusively using 3M or can they source other films like Ventureshield or Llumar?

I believe they only use 3M, but am not certain - give them a call. I initially thought I wanted Llumar, but after talking with many installers and clear bra owners I decided t o go with 3M. I was told Llumar is great, but that they are primarily a window tint product. Give Gene a call at the shop.
