    Hello all.

    I thought I would post a note here because who else would feel as passionate about our cars as the people here.

    I have a 50th Anniversary Corvette and I want to have the protective bra installed. I’ve read the posts about how professional installations can be done by companies like Premier Mobile Group and want to try to get that level of service here in the Indy area.

    Can anyone recommend an installer in the Indy area?

    I had my 06 Gallardo done in Indianapolis by Jason Lemen. You can reach him at (317) 502-8468. He uses 3M Scotchgard film and pre-cut kits from X-pel. He's not cheap, but he's the best in town. At my request, he custom cut a piece of 48" wide material so he could cover the entire hood with one piece - no lines!

    out of curiosity what is "he's not cheap?" are we talking 5 grand or a thousand?

    My dealer quoted around $1200 for the Gallardo using his local installer and the standard pre-cut kit. Jason charged a little over $1600, but did the custom cut piece for the hood.

    I do this kind of work and am in Indy as well. I am very detailed, and only custom cut. Oh, and a very easy to understand guarantee....if you do not like the job, you do not pay, and I remove the film. So far, I have not had to do that. ;)
