    Hello Group,

When I bought my car it came with a clear tinted targa top.

Anyone know anything about this accessory? Rarity? Value? Supplier?

    Thanks for any info!

You are referring to the Saratoga top, made by the now-defunct Saratoga Company. This item is uber rare, uber expensive and desperately sought after. Guard it with your life!

    Lucky you. Welcome!

As noted, irreplacable, probably worth $2K or so.

Advertise yours for sale and watch the frenzy........:D

Not from me though, all mine are GTBs.!!

IRC, the last one on eBay ended at $2635. Amazing because you can get an NOS Saratoga top for a Mazda RX7 for $400!

I was offered one without a scratch, basically NOS, for $1200.

    I said, "Drop dead."

Someone here went thru the process to make one for a few(very few) hundred and it was not rocket science.

The post must exist in the archives.

Thank you to all of you for letting me know what this top is!

It's a pretty cool little top, but we'll see if I feel like selling it once the snow goes away! ;)

    Thanks again!

    Probably.

I looked for awhile but then it struck me.

The S-Top is too Z-28-ish ....... and I loved mine.

Would not mind getting another someday, But I do NOT want a cheap-a55-ed Maranello, Italian immitation Z.

    Make sense?

    Run "Search" for it.

    Some pics will pop up.

    You will have a 1980-'s Z28 / TransAm flashback.

Sorry I don't have better pictures, but this is a picture I took of it last week when I went up to Michigan to make the deal on the car.

The car will be delivered in January, so I can take some more pics of it then no problem.

Sorry, just got back from vacation. Yes, I got my Saratoga top from an Fchater name Greg about a year ago. If you keep your eye open, they do pop up on Ebay every now and then.

Maybe a little bit, at the most probably around 3/4 of an inch more, I have to measure it to be exact.
