Has anyone done any kind of winshield protection done on their car. Their is a product called Proline Windshield Skins Wanted to get some feed back on it from anyone that has it on their car. Thanks in advance.
Akinla, FYI, I just called the installer in San Diego. I am thinking of having it done on my Gallardo. I will let you know the outcome.
I believe this is the website: http://prolinestyling.com/ Please let me know what you think after you get it installed. Visibility, durability etc. Thanks
A place called Modern image does all The clear bras and Proline winshield protection for the Ferrari Dealers in San Diego. The winshield protection I wouldnt recommend unless you have a really high end car and you plan on peeling it off and replacing it frequently. I do recommend the clear bra on the fronts of the car. They are a savior of rock chips from rally events. We repainted our F430 replaced the headlights and winshield, because someone peckered it from a rally. $15,000 later, we now decided to add the clear bra and protection on it.
I agree with SD Prestige, the clear bra is a must if you are going to actually go out and drive at any speed on the road or track. I likewise had to replace headlights, windshield and reapint front half of my 360 Spider. I had Modern Image do the clear bra on two of my cars, one half front end one full front end and it looks awesome. I got the windshield protector in a 2007 Z06 and immediately cancelled it for the Ferrari. It is clear and it works fine with the wipers but if little bubbles and little scratches bother you, then you won't like the windshield protector. I am probably going to peel it off the Corvette after less than two months and 200 miles. I think I drive the car less becasue I hate the windshield cover. Just my two cents.
