This is classic....a guy is offering space on his 308 as a billboard: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=317&item=5952216899&rd=1 Read his ad and figure out what he forgot. Birdman
That's funny! Maybe he doesn't know it won't stick....... I've used a 'temporary' vinyl as the base of all the signage on my hood. It'll peel off without paint damage.....if you're careful!
I can't believe it.... even more so, is that I actually KNOW the guy. He's in our regional club and is going to get RAZZED by me! Maybe I'll get everyone to chip in a couple of $ and we'll take out an ad for "EXLAX" or "KOTEX TAMPONS", or maybe a nice big "DEPENDS" ad for his hood. That should look really cool, as he tools around Portland, Oregon!
Hey Birdman, you know what else is funny? You gave us exactly 0 minutes to come up with the solution.....Thread started at 10:30, the clue came in at....10:30 hahaha
It wasn't actually a test for you guys. I was just in a hurry to have some fun with him! I knew you would all know the answer immediately. Birdman
Wouldnt an ad work better on the side of the door? Can you really see it and read it on the hood of a Ferrari? Maybe with a helicopter.
Heck, Gary, I think we should all pitch in and do exactly what you suggest!! The $600 split among all the NW f-club members shouldn't be too much. I'd pay $20 to have him tool around with said signage for 60 days! Ha! - Tim
That's what I told him, but he pulled the ad anyway! I think he's on to something! I'll bet someone WOULD pay to advertise on his Ferrari. I don't know if they would pay $600 though. Remember the startup company a few years ago that was going to place paid advertising on private cars? What ever happened to them?
It's been all over the news about the Snore-Less company paying $37,000 to advertise their product logo on someone's FOREHEAD from an eBay auction. It's real. See it at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=317&item=5950507719 Now "forehead" advertising auctions are all over eBay!
