I have a clicking noise LR tire area. It sounds like a rock or nail in a tire but clicks faster than the revolution of the tire. Does it in forward and reverse under a light load when JUST starting out. I can not hear it after 5 mph. I an not jack the rear of the car and listen now, just hoping someone has had the same problem.

Sounds a little like when I had a bad wheel bearing.

I replaced both outboard boots and they looked good. I is more of a tap tap like a nail in a tire. I hope I can duplicate it on the rack

I had a similar annoying noise. It could only be heard at low speeds. I traced it to right front tire by having my buddy run along side of car listening for it.

Turns out part of the tire changing tool broke off inside tire and it was clanging around at low speed but centrifugal force held it against inside of tire at speed.
